The Pennsylvania Emu Farmers Association (PEFA) is pleased to be able to offer Soapmaking as an AEP class this year.
Our teachers are sisters, Maryanne Schwartz and Tina Sams. Maryanne is the owner of Lancaster County Soapworks, Etc., a wholesale business supplying soap to businesses around the country. Visit her website at www.lancastersoaps.com. Tina is founder, editor and publisher of The Essential Herbal (www.essentialherbal.com).
Maryanne and Tina have been making soap since the early ‘90’s and enjoy playing with new formulations and techniques using various fats and oils. They have recently begun distilling essential oils and hydrosols.
